After an enjoyable run of events, I've opted to bring the
Bulls Head (Stockport) acoustic nights to a close, with our finale event this
coming THURSDAY MAY 10TH, 8.30pm, all welcome to come and celebrate original
acoustic music in a relaxed and chilled environment!!
I've no doubt someone else will run a night here soon, and it's good to know
that acoustic songwriter gigs continue at The Bakers Vauts
across the road, also in the Market Place.
I personally have something else a trifle exciting on the horizon, and
thankfully for me geographically a little closer to home!!
Hope you can make it on Thursday,

Hello and welcome,
Well, how very poor! We’ve let this particular site
drop a little lately as we have major and very exciting changes ahead.
Coming soon: news of a brand new acoustic gig that is a
major step up to build on all the good stuff we’ve been doing the last 5
years!
Coming soon: a new and vibrant news page dedicated entirely
and exclusively to our website community!
Coming soon: the BIG summer push promoting all our sites and
furthering our networks!
As part of the new developments, after 40 excellent and fun
shows, we have however decided to let the radio show go. In a nutshell, Stereo
Graffiti has to be a vehicle first and foremost for a happy music community
that participates in our events and website network. The radio show
subsequently ceased to fulfill that role, and it was best for all concerned
that it should be managed independently by those who wish to do their own thing.
As part of the commitment promised to Andy Goddard at www.netrascope.com, who continues to
dedicate his own time and efforts to the podcast,
please continue to seek and enjoy all 40 Stereo Graffiti Radio Shows as they
remain in archives of I-Tunes and all major podcast providers.
In addition, we’ve moved the forum onwards also.
Again, this no longer serves the purpose of promoting the kind of music
community that Stereo Graffiti has been associated with since 1988, or indeed
1986 if you include Stand And Deliver, Zip Magazine, a
young Steve Coogan and all those wonderful poets!!
Whether we have moved onwards, upwards, or merely to one
side, the Stereo Graffiti name has always been at the forefront of a pro-active
live music community. This will continue, watch this space, exciting times
ahead!
